Like most Christian music, most freely available Christian podcasts are...well, let's say not up my alley. I have stuff by Rowan Williams, N. T. Wright, Walter Brueggemann, Gresham College podcasts in Divinity, St. Paul Theological Centre's Godpod, Emergent Podcast, and Home-brewed Christianity, but I'm looking for more sermon-type things. As you can see, I won't appreciate Mark Driscoll or Brian Houston or Joel Osteen, etc. Any thoughts?

In the spirit of not discussing religion, let's not get into a debate about what's good/bad about the Emergent Podcast v. Mark Driscoll, etc. I just thought some of you would know some good resources.

You might want to check out iTunes University they have stuff from Reformed Theological Seminary, Oxford, Stanford, Yale, etc.
With this wide range of theological positions you'll probably find plenty to download

my favorite pastor is Francis Chan- checkout the podcasts from his church Cornerstone Church in simi valley. He has decided to leave the church, but podcasts are still available. I also suggest you check out his books "crazy love" and "forgotten God"

A few that I like - depending on the style you enjoy, topic, etc:

Rob Bell at Mars Hill Church in Flint, MI
Todd Wagner at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX

There are more, I am sure, but these are the first 2 that come to mind that I have really enjoyed.  Both are on iTunes via Podcasts.
