Hello, forum newb here!
(Well actually I've been here for a few months but am just now getting around to making my newb thread.)
Figured I'd try and get this new member tag removed from my back.
For my first topic I'd like to discuss the one and only: Stax.
I've owned various hifi-headphones over the years but it wasn't until I arrived at the doors of the Electrostatic Cathedral that my journey truly began.
"EarSpeakers" completely changed my view of what audio as a whole is; they breathed new life into my music and movies.
Speaking of music, I'm a hardcore metal fan so if you're ever in need of some bands feel free to ask away.
As you all know most metal is terribly recorded, I searched the lands far and wide for a set of cans that could properly separate and image my music correctly. I had traveled through the land of Dynamics, traversed the caverns of the IEMs, and climbed the mountains of the Planars.
As soon as I was about to give up hope, I came across them. EarSpeakers~
Ever since then I haven't really touched anything that wasn't an E-Stat. Magnepans, Kingsound, Koss, this is my life now. I'm never going back.
So what I would like to know is, how many Pious Stax-Goers are lurking around here?
