I've read a few discussions/comparisons on here, but I want to get a few more opinions. I have owned Sennheiser (HD555/HD650) and currently have a Sony V6.. I've also expiremented with many iems and settled on UM2s for the warm presentation. I would like to get some closed, comfortable cans that have a soundstage similar to the Senns. I need to stay at $100-$200 (used) and run them unamped. What would be your first recommendation?

Among the ones I am considering are:
Audio Technica ATH-A700
Audio Technica ATH-A900
Beyerdynamic DT-770 (80-OHM)
Sennheiser HD280 PRO

Another recommendation for the A700 or A900. Both are very comfortable and both have a soundstage similar to the Senns. Both A700 and A900 are easily driven and don't require and amp to sound good.

A700 and A900. DT770 if you had an amp (but you said unamped) and HD280 is a disappointing headphone IMHO.
