I have finally gotten some IEM's that I'm sorta digging after searching for a while. The only thing I don't like is that the round shaped tips don't always stay sealed when I turn my head or yawn...or chew...yada. They are somewhat tricky to get sealed. When they're sealed, they sound really good.

I thought I'd try Complyfoam b/c of all the good reviews. They seal, but they killed the energy of my Turbines. They sound slightly bigger in the soundstage arena, but killed the Bass. I got them at Radio hey're the top shelf one's too.

They also irritate my ears enough to cause my Tinnitus to increase. Probably due to the deeper insertion than the Silicone tips.

Just thought I'd let you know that they don't work for everyone.

Try out the Sony hybrid tips or the newer Shure SCL2 black silicone tips (those with the ~4mm bore)

Foam type tips tend to kill the sound by rolling off bass extensions earlier, bumping up the midbass area in a bad, undefined manner and rolloff the treble areas quite badly in some cases.

Depends on the earphone too tho.
