I've been stewing over the question of which of these two highly rated amps is the best fit with my new HE-500's.  The Lake People G103-S is about $90 cheaper than the Corda Jazz but the latter has some interesting features like the crossfeed filter and active balanced ground.  More important is SQ with neutrality, realistic soundstage, detail and tonal accuracy the prime considerations.

Any recommendations?

I know this may be thread necroscopy, but I've been asking about the HE-500 and Corda Jazz for a while too. It seems that there are not many people with this combination :frowning2:

Thanks for pointing out that thread Avi.    I ended up going with the Audio-gd NFB-6 for the HE-500 and find the results to be spectacularly good!  This amp allowed me to have a fully balanced H/P rig and at just over $500 with remote volume control sans volume pot, I think it's an amazing value.  It delivers 5.92 W into the 38 ohms of the HiFiMan.
