Hi, I am planning to get some 2.1 computer speakers for under $200-250 CDN

I have hear people complaining that SP2500 do not have enough powerful bass. That the bass is low (up to 20-25hz) clear and tight, but not powerful enough and the satellites are louder to the subwoofer in perspective...

Are the Corsair SP2500 worth the $?

PS. Do not suggest Logitech Crap Speakers... I had a Z-2300 and they are complete carbage, belongs in garbage cars... The bass is too overpowering, and the mids/highs are both mehhh...

I also had a Logitech Z-623, sound is okay at best, bass is muddy and boomy, but the right channel satellite broke and the internal Power Supply broke... ( I have not even tun these Logitechs past the 70% volume.... TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

They seem decent, but I'm not terribly enthused by the class D amps* (nice of them to mention that, though).  If you're willing to hold off on the sub for a while the audioengine A2's sell for 200 USD, or you can the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 for 200 USD as well.

*Ha, my Promedia 2.1's probably have a class D amp as well.

So Class AB amps is better at handling distortion, but it is not as efficient as D amps..
