I have no idea if this story played outside of the NY Tri-State area.  But there was this dog napper who was caught on tape. He was prominently sporting headphones.  I couldn't help but wonder and be aghast with the thought, could he be a member here?

He was caught BTW.  He was standing on a corner asking people if they wanted to buy the dog.  A woman knew it had to be stolen given the circumstances, so she bought it to get the dog out of the situation.  She brought it to her vet to see if it had a subdermal chip, and it did.  Dog and little girl were reunited the next day.  Headpone toating dognapper was tracked down and arrested on a bevy of charges.

What a f'n dush-bag if so and I hope the owner or moderators of this sight see this, check their DB, and ban the person if so...  But you're right.  His likely drug habit would prohibit owning a computer (would have pawned it 1000 times by now) let alone pay for high-speed service -- and participating on boards is a pita over a phone. -- so I doubt he's a member.
