So I just purchased a pair of DBA-02 in the for sale forum. I need my IEMs to have a mic/controls though. So either I'll recable, and solder the wires from a pair of Apple Earbuds to the drivers (as I did with my CX300-II) or I'll have Brian Goto do this. Since they haven't been shipped, and won't be for the next couple days, I thought I'd ask you guys and if someone who has experience with the DBA-02 says I shouldn't even attempt or that I might crack the shell when I try to open them, I'll just have the seller ship them directly to Brian. So, what say you, Head-Fi?

You could get them custom-ified and see if you can find a CIEM cable with a mic?
