Hi, all! I'm new to the full-size, open-ear headphone scene. I've used a set of Ultimate Ears TripleFi's for the last few years, but I've just received my new HD650's (just in time for the hurricane!), and I've got them connected to my Denon 4311 receiver (this one: http://www.crutchfield.com/s_033AV4311C/Denon-AVR-4311CI.html?tp=179&nvpair=FFBrand%7cDenon)

I've never heard a dedicated headphone DAC/amp, so I'm wondering if I'm missing out on anything by using this (fairly high end) receiver. It sounds good to me thus far.

I've read through a few threads on receivers in general as headphone amps, but they mostly seem to discuss gear that might not be the equivalent of this component. Does anyone have any experience with Denon's recent higher end receivers? What do you think about their headphone capabilities?

Thanks for any insights!

Rob
