Denon AH-D7000 Not working

Stock Denon AH-D7000's that are out of warranty and the left can has no signal. Both channels worked last night, and the headphones were undisturbed before use in the morning. Zero issues before this such as intermittent sound, etc. There is a single kink on the separate cables leading to each can, however that hasn't affected sound until this point.

Things I've tried:
  • Backup headphones on same setup, both channels come through so not the source
  • Disassembled left cup to check cable, solder, and driver fit - looks good to my untrained eye
  • Felt up all 3m of the headphone cable for any intermittent sounds, still no left channel and right channel stays constant
I can hear the very minor pop in the right channel when plugging in, but the left can is silent.

A multimeter is on the way to check driver impedance and cables, but until then is there anything else I can try? I'd rather not send them off to Denon for out-of-pocket repairs!
