I am interested in a new hifi system and the Denon has caught my eye as a terrific option for the ££

What I am looking for though is the ability to play my library of local files (mixture of Lossless and Hi-Res FLACS) and to do so via a wired connection ideally.

I have a Sony WM1A but could only connect that via headphone out. Would I need to purchase another source to properly use the Denon? If so I am thinking that there may be better options, I could use a laptop but that would be kind of clunky.

Thanks

Hello,

My parents own the former DM39 and DM40 versions which had UBS inputs (DM40 even had USB host port for smartphones). I saw that they removed it on the DM41. You can however connect your Walkman with a Jack->RCA cable connected to Analog IN. I guess that your headphone output is powerful enough for that and you can take advantage of the Walkman DAC.
