What else I need for detachable cable mod?

People who have done the detachable cable mod just tell me what else I need for it, because I wanna place my damn order so I can start practicing with my crappy old headphones...

A cable?
Do you have flux, solder and everything you need to solder properly?
Probably some glue to fixate the female socket in your headphones.

I have soldering thing, but not the flux...

You also need a DMM to check for cold solder.
