Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200

This double tip position trick will only work with stock tips, right? Too bad, i didn't like them at all with ie900 and ie600.

Second question: will you guys consider getting rid of the wire in the earhooks? It will immediately make them more comfortable for most of the people.

I agree with both of these. I really think you should start offering the Pro tips with the non Pro IE series as they are much better imo

On IE 200 the double positioning soundstage affect will work on any tips because the slit is in the stem, but the affect may vary depending on how much of the slit is covered. How well they stay in place is tough to predict given we don't make 3P tips.

As of now the bendable reinforcement stays but we'd recommend a 3P cable if you don't want them. The new lighter, braided cable makes the ear reinforcement much more effective IMHO so give em a try before getting a 3P cable (unless you already have one you love, of course).

I normally don't like hooks, but in this case it really helps get the positioning right. No other iem fits with a good seal like the ie600.

You're not going to answer my question about mid and higher-end offerings coming up right after the ie200, such as an ie500 in the ie600 category, or an ie1000 in the ie900 category, are you?
Because it’s very likely

I normally don't comment on speculation but in this case I have to so rumors aren't running amok. Nothing beyond IE 200 is imminent.

Sony hybrid tips work as well. In fact I've found the Sony tips are more secure as the stock tips can sometimes pop into the 'closed' position when I insert the IEMs into my small(er) ear canals. I'm not going to comment on sound vs stock tips; the Sony tips are just my preferred tips and I haven't and won't be doing any A-B testing.
