My stellaris at the time though had the balanced inputs, so I was running Wavelight with balanced XLR. I am not sure on the power of that, might be higher.

Is there anything you want improved on this combo? I'm using a WD signature on my Starlett and I think it complements well with the DNA wet and slightly rounded transient sound as it provides the stage depth and dynamics with none of the etch often associated with hard hitting dynamic sounding dacs.

On the stellaris waitlist. Would appreciate any headphone suggestions to check out that would excel with the amp. I own 2020 Utopia. I’ve heard 800s and atrium (not on stellaris) which have been recommended. Anyone care to make a list of headphones they prefer on it?

I think Utopia 2020 is the best headphone with Stellaris personally.

Atrium Open is absolutely killer on Stratus, as well as JAR 650.

Rockna balanced out is 6v I believe, so just a couple of dB higher than May (5.8v)
