I listen to everything apart from rock so want some good all around headphones...

Just wondering if these would be good for a bit of everything, they are right at the top end of my £100 budget.

I like thongs a bit bassy but would rather have good Mids and highs over just good lows..

So would they be any good?

Other options?

You mean KRK?

The KRK KNS-8400 has more elevated bass than the 6400, but has slightly less neutral mids.
The KNS-6400 is pretty flat but to most people it would be called bass light, but I wouldn't agree.

The SRH-840 is good but a bit big and awkward to wear. It has a slight mid-bass hump.

You could also look into the Koss Pro DJ100 which is cheaper and better sounding IMO. I have both KRKs and had the SRH-840 for a year.

Hmm thx, yhea typo my fault, the 8400 seems more what I would be after over the 6400 then but with koss at half the price that seems awesome, will look into the koss more it looks good as its my first real set might swell start with something cheap per and work my way up thx.
