Do Comply tips ever give the best sound?

It might help if everyone included whether they roll the tips over the tube(away from the iem) or away from the tube(toward the iem).

I personally roll away from the tube so the foam doesn't muffle the high's so much. Due to the better isolation of these tips, bass becomes increased. This may be why the mids sound less detailed and warmer depending on the phone.

Still prefer my hybrids though!

I use the smallest comply's on my triple.fi's and they sound better than any of the oe tips to me.

I've only tried the comply tips on the RE0 and TF10. They were comfortable but I felt there were better options than them for tips on those two that sounded better and were pretty close or better in comfort.

I do prefer silicon tips, but even the smallest ones slip out. I wonder if I could fine some decent bi-flange replacements for them.

I like the T400s on my NE-7M's and get noticeably better mids, highs and soundstage when there reversed. I can appreciate the "muffled highs" that some have noted, but reversing them takes care of that.

Unfortunately, they seem to wear out faster reversed.
