Does an SD card sound like this when it's going bad...

It's cheap to replace it.

Try a big file copy that will fill at least half the drive. If it slows to a crawl or doesn't finish, that's one sign the drive is bad. Doing a format, but not a quick format will mark bad sectors as it goes and could fix the problem the easiest. It'll take a while, but it's free.

Deleting my previous reply because I figured out the real issue. The card is fine but the latest version of the Hiby music app is the problem. I updated it on both of my phones about 3 weeks ago and that is when the problems started. I tried other music players and none of them have this issue.

Is there anyone from Hidizs on Head-Fi?
