I'm considering the Little Dot MK V Dual-Mono amp, but I'm concerned it might not adequately power such a low impedance 'phone as the D2000/D5000 (25 ohms).. Does anyone have any experience with this combo?

penchum didnt say anything about low impedance phones in his review here.

but someone else remarked in this post that you inquired about

i dont know what would be the cause of the hissing that dual is talking about but its odd. id say shoot david a quick email and see what he has to say. it might be something with duals source or it might be the amp itself, i dont know. send david a quickie, he is great with answering fast.

just read this

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f5/rev...ml#post3718073

having owned the mk v, i can vouch for it being a great little amp. but ive only used it with high impedance phones so i cant say anything about lower impedance ones. i dont think it should have any problems but make sure you got a good source. listening to anything under 320 kbps even on an auzen prelude without a dac was painful. and the prelude is considered to be a pretty good sound card.
