Hey guys,
 
Got these two beasts for a steal ($150 for the cans, $80 for the ST, BNIB!!!) and now I am wanting to go about getting the most out of them. What settings are recommended both for the sound card and my music player (Winamp)? How about any other tricks that I could do to get the best overall performance?

Disable the motherboard's on-board audio, in the BIOS, before installing the Essence STX.
Try using the Unified Xonar Drivers.
Use the Essence ST's 64-300 gain setting.
Personally i prefer to use Foobar2000.
