Hey guys, I am looking for a pair of DT 770's, mostly for gaming and media. I have found two pairs, besides the resistance of the 'phones (one is 80Ω the other is 250Ω), are they identical?

The pair on the left are £20 cheaper than the pair on the right, I was wondering if they were an older design and if the sound was at all different?

I only briefly heard the 770's, but what;s your setup? Do you have an amp or dac? If you use the on board dac and amp then get the 80 ohm version, if you can find it, the 32 ohm version is even better if you don't have a good amp/dac.

Currently I use an iFi iDSD for music and a Creative Sound Blaster ZX for gaming and media. However, I'm ill informed about the two pairs I have linked, they are aesthetically different but are the internals the same?

Yeah that should be powerful enough for the 250 ohm version.
