Hey all,
Just picked up some HD 280 Pros from another member and I'm really enjoying these for my set of closed cans. Only issue I have with them is they get somewhat uncomfortable after a couple hours. They come with pleather pads and I've grown accustomed to the velour pads on my HD 555's. I've seen it mentioned that the Beyerdynamic DT250 velour pads will fit the HD 280 Pro but I am unsure of how they will affect sound quality.
I searched the forums and only found a couple mentions of these pads on the HD 280 Pro and they were in the For Sale section so I couldn't find much information on how they sound with these on. Does anyone have any experience with these pads on the HD 280 Pro? I'm really enjoying the tight, punchy bass on these cans and I'd like it if velour pads wouldn't affect the bass reproduction too much.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
