Hi everyone!
I have my DT880 250 Ohm headphones plugged into my Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 Firewire soundcard and it sounds awesome right now, the volume is far more than enough for me at 40%.
Would a dedicated headphone amp make much of a difference for me?
I'm sorry if this question sounds silly or if it has been answered before, I couldn't find any threads regarding this soundcard and headphone combo. I only record guitar and use the MIDI interface, I never checked how good the headphone out this soundcard has. This is my first high impedance headphone, I only have an AD700 and a ZX700 beside this one.
