Hi guys. Currently own the he500s which i love. Mainly use them with an aune t1 and imac for watching movies and listening to music! Recently bought a new tv however and was considering buying the dt990s for listening to movies/tv (although i will have to buy an extension cable as the cable wont be long enough) I find the he500s fine for watching movies but would the dt990s be better? Given that they could be run directly from the tv right? whereas with the he500s i would need to keep them amped right?
