I’m sure by now you figured out that the amp14 will not power your 600 ohm iem well
Why wouldn't it power them very well?

Yep sure did... Even Amp12 won't properly dampen them..... On top of being 600 Ohms, their sensitivity is only 87dBSPL... It takes a good 10.9V to drive them properly (to say 110dB). That is on paper only and doesn't account for any swing.

It is this one (though not an IEM)... Both the picture for these is wrong, as well as the specs. The maker addressed us to tell us that the driver is actually 87dBSPL, as opposed to the advertised 95dBSPL on the 3rd party seller site linked. But you can only get them directly from the maker from Taobao... :)

Here is what they actually look like.

Seems like it is a bad design. No one wants to carry around a desktop amp for IEMs. :^) Defeats the purpose when so many good IEMs are not hard to drive.

Updated, Sound impressions to follow. First impressions it became less aggressive, deeper soundstage more nuanced Highs, more intimate sound.
Thanks a lot.
Less aggressive sound with reduced soundstage, good reason for me to skip this update.

I have not heard a smaller soundstage. I was listening to some Hendrix and the sound was excellent with it being very dynamic and exciting. That is the hi res 1969 concert.

He didn't say Reduce Soundstage. He said Deeper Soundstage.

Yes, but when you say:

In my head it means that somehow somewhere soundstage will be reduced
I sort of of got conflicting descriptions with "deeper soundstage" along with "more intimate sound", so I sort of felt wasn't sure either.

Hi All,
Anyone here using iFi Go-Pod with DX320 ?
With this setup and when using Mango Player there is a "pop-crack" sound between songs !
This only happens with Mango Player - Android.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Not me, but why use it with the ibasso? the Go Pod is a wireless device for iems right? i would use it in a more portable environment like if traveling with my cell phone using LDAC. iBasso is a great device but it is heavy. Music quality should be similar if not the same on either because of wireless. I like the advantage using wired headphones to get the best possible audio i can from the 320's circuitry. I use my mobile on the go with LDAC phones.

But my wireless works ok so far after trying it, no pops on Mango using wireless but i am using and older firmware. Does it pop only with the Go Pod or any wireless device? you can rule out the player or app if its only happening to the Go Pods or maybe LDAC pops what about Aptx?

Also sometimes multiple music apps can be running in the background can interfere when switching between the apps.
How are you using the device? mainly wireless, multipurpose or .. Have you tried to reboot it?
