Yes. Make sure the .cue file is in the folder. (I'd need to check if this is definitely needed)Does the Dx320 MAX play ISO files?

Thanks, is that with the default Android OS and music application that comes installed, or is any mod or specific music application required for that?
I'm asking as playing ISO is not mentioned in the user manual.

Oh really? Guess I should go read it!
I play mine through mango OS or UAPP if in android.
It's very easy to split though, I did that to a lot of SACD iso's but theres a coupe I haven't and had no issues with them.

Can someone who has changed the battery on their Max help me out please?
I have received a replacement battery for my 320 Max (thanks Paul!) and I've removed the old battery. I don't want to fit the new one as there are two sets of red/white/black cables on one side of the battery (plus one set on the other side) and I don't know which of the two sets goes into each of the two connectors. I should have checked before removing the original battery, but I didn't do this.
Maybe it doesn't matter but is someone able to confirm what is correct before I risk making a mistake?

Is it safe to use the LO mode with Headphones? In both Android or Mongo OS, PO, mode IV, I need to go all the way up to have a reasonable volume with a Diana MR when playing DSD files.
Any thoughts?

DAC volume to 100?
Surprised as I drove regular Diana to acceptable volume levels even off of a Gyrphon...

Yes, DAC volume to 100. It’s weird. Maybe because still burning in?DAC volume to 100?

Burn in won't affect gain / volume. Would've thought you'd have had plenty volume on gain IV with Diana. They do like beefy power but MAX isn't shy in that department and iirc DSD is only a 6dB drop usually. Don't think it'll make much difference but tried through android /UAPP?

You won't get the volume or drive needed for many headphones using the line out. That is why there is the Phone out, which uses the amplifier. Line out is off of the dac, bypassing the amp and that is for an off dap amp not for really driving headphones. I can easily drive the Expanse with the DX320MAX, and they aren't super easy to drive. They also sound very good from the DX320MAX.Is it safe to use the LO mode with Headphones? I think the point is playing DSD native files and the noticeable volume drop.
I remember this on my Ferrum-Holo desktop gear with Susvara bringing the 8 Watt amp to its upper limit when wanting to apply extra Equing with additional digital headroom decreasing volume further to avoid clipping.
Wondering how some D16 will perform here, guess it's playing native DSD without volume drop off
