So, you won't recommend it?

Which buds that fits the bill now?
Neutral+sparkle+airy (non sibilant)
I am thinking that the Moondrop Chaconne fit that bill very nicely. Though, when I say neutral, I am not talking about flat. This set is very airy and sparkly, but at the same time this is presented as very smooth (and not sibilant ever, from my ear's point of view). A lot of folks don't like it quite as much because the bass quantity is not as full as some of the more contemporary buds. These remind me of the old audiophile headphones such as the OG HD800 or something similar (as far as bass is concerned) it isn't like it is rolled off sharply, and is definitely there, but just recessed or very neutral. Also, just like the HD800, they have a HUGE soundstage. They are on the expensive side of things though (but are worth the asking price for my part).

Most of the others that I might recommend (from personal experience) would be either too bassy or warm (not neutral), or not be as sparkly with air.

Another great thing about these (for me at least) is that you can order them from Amazon rather that HAVING to order from AE (or some similar place). This means that you an send them back if you don't like them. :) This was a HUGE factor for me because let's face it, $300 is not cheap for a set of earbuds.

Just saw this! $207.99...The lowest price I have seen for Chaconne, with a 45-day return (possibly a lower price during AE sales?):

Ahhh! I see now. It is because they are refurbised... If you get them brand new, they are still on discount (albeit a smaller one) at about $281 from Amazon.

Edit: FiiO Germany at www.fiio-shop.de, unfortunately their earbuds section does not list the new FF1, but at least you and @MiMiranda can contact them and ask when the FF1 will be available at FiiO Germany store.

Other authorized FiiO dealer in Germany is hifi-passion store which has only 4 earbuds listed.

Both are the same store.
Sure they will have the FF1, but for "normal" price. I would have bought them for the promo price for testing. For regular price I think there are better options.
And cause of bad experience with this shop, I wouln't buy there anyway.

Wow, sorry to hear you had some bad experiences shopping there. Didn't know fiio-shop and hifi-passion are the same store under different names / websites. Does Penon site work for you? Anyway, best of luck finding a place to buy earbuds in Germany.
