It does drive the Yinman 600Ω no problem, but if I want ultimate power I use my iFi Retro Stereo 50. The 1/4 inch (6.35mm) headphone outputs 7000mW of clean power... enough power to drive anything I can throw at it.But can it run Crysis?... I mean can it drive the Yinman 600ohm?

My lastest build is sounding most excellent.
Million dollar question: when are you gonna sell it to us?
A piezo + DD config is really very innovative for a earbud!

Hello, My name is Sheldon but you call "Gogo" like the reference agogo-gaga. I'm still a newbie in the DIY area.
Anyways, I'm here because i want to seek guidance from the audiophile/head-fi community. I bought my first expensive driver from shopee (PH) and it's the Blue Diamond (PET drivers) 300 ohms. If any of the chads here have any idea of the sound signature of the stock tuning and will the bass be reduced if i mod the mx500 shell into a mmcx one? or just stick to the non-mmcx (recabled)? Thank you for welcoming to Head-fi guys!

Be careful as the faceplates are very fragile
Edit:
I like this driver

Ha! Very entertaining thought, but far from my skill level to even consider such a thing. LOL. I'm sure some people would like my tuning, but it's never perfect, or could be tuned better. Many times when I think I've got a set of buds tuned just right, I'll listen to them for a couple days and realize that the exciting sound that I enjoyed at first doesn't thrill me as much as the first time I listened. So I give them and my ears a few days of rest (from tuning) and then continue with tuning sessions and see how the buds come out.Million dollar question: when are you gonna sell it to us?

The dual driver is the same one used in the Aeolian Bell earbuds. 13.6mm Speaker Unit Piezoelectric Ceramic Graphene Earphones Drivers. 1 pair of drivers cost less then $5.00, so anyone can experiment and see if they can build some decent dual driver buds.

And here I go, entering another rabbit hole knowing very well that I cannot afford everything that's inevitably going to catch my fancy

Welcome, Nik! A year ago, I was in your spot - dipping my toe in and trying the recommended budget earbuds (X6, Iris 2.0, Qian39, Monk, Etc.). Now I am alone and destitute, but with a case full of earbuds! Seriously though, it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. Enjoy! And here I go, entering another rabbit hole knowing very well that I cannot afford everything that's inevitably going to catch my fancy

I also did just that to myself with IEMs and I simply wouldn't learn.. But, with high quality music playback you're never really alone nor destitute!Welcome, Nik! Yesterday evening's pure bliss while listening to VE Megatron and VE Zen LL has brought me to the conclusion that if someone asked me for a recommendation on a 'one and done' headfi setup at around $150 this would be my current rec.

Hello. could you list a few manufacturers, perhaps with a link to their website, who make the best technical earbuds today?
Nice collection going there. I don't have any VE buds, so I'm wondering which of those earbuds do you consider as your top 3 favorites and maybe a brief description of their sound profiles?Venture Electronics Enthusiast

For me it’s VE APWS and TGXEar DS.venture electronics sun cooper and tgxear Desolation Sound are the best on the market right now?
However the APWS is library dependent. Best is super subjective, depends on your library. I think DS is a wonderful all rounder. Some may miss the sub bass extension of his serratus and Sunniva tho. Yes Sunniva is more mid bassy but I hear deeper sub bass extension on Sunniva over DS. DS is superbly balanced IMO. YMMV
