I didn't see a thread or even posts about this but maybe because it's a new thing. Anyway, it looks like someone is Kickstarting a headphone that purports to have a vacuum tube built in to it as well as a DAC. I'll not list all the details but this site does so if you're interested. Seems like an interesting design but the proof will be in the hearing.

Maybe it's the thought of having a vacuum tube anywhere near your head during the hot summer months, I can't even use my tube amp in the Summer
