I am fairly new to IEM's and after doing a lot of research I decided to upgrade my Sennheiser ie800s and purchased Empire Ears Phantom. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these or similar iem and could recommend a cable and dac that pairs well with them. My goal is to find something that will open up the higher mids and treble, brighten the treble and keep the bass responsive and punchy.
I've seen a few recommendations but mostly for cables and daps that are way out of my price range. I would prefer a dac over a dap (I listen to Tidal mostly and portability is important to me) and have been looking at the Chord Mojo and the Dragonfly Cobalt.
I appreciate any feedback! Even if it is to tell me that cables won't do jack for the sound, as I am still learning.
