Does any of you have AKG K 480 NC headphones and tried to equalize them?
For me they sound muddy and I like to have less bass but better overall clarity. That is why I never really used them, instead kept them in a drawer... Now I thought I will experiment with EQ and see how it works out, but I couldn't find frequency response graphs for this model on the Internet. It is giving me much more clarity but still the bass is there, it's punchy etc. however not overwhelming the rest of the frequencies. Do you know if the characteristics of K 450 are the same as K 480 NC? Also maybe you have some recommendations on how to tweak EQ more so that it suits best these particular headphones?
