I am interested in trying to DIY some Etymotic ER4 cables, and the biggest problem to me would be to make the right pins for connecting it to the earpiece.
In the past, there used to be the www.fixup.net page (Xin's page), but the domain doesn't exist anymore. Xin posted thorough instructions for making an OFC cable completely from scratch.
Other people would simply salvage an existing ER4 cable, but I don't have that.
Could anyone give me some suggestion for building one, being it sturdy and cheap?
