For those of you running Euphony Stylus v3.x, a beta of version 4 has finally been released.

Here’s a link to the 4.20220527 version:

https://hdinfo.box.com/shared/static/xozg17k2dqk15olfl60hilequgb3y4jb.gz

Unzip the file and use image writer software (Balena for Mac, Image Writer for PC, etc.) to install the img to a USB thumb drive (16GB minimum size) to make it bootable.

There’s a 0529 update available, as well. To get it, you’ll need to install the beta and update to 0529.

Please keep in mind that running an OS off a USB stick is slow. The installation may appear to hang sometimes, but stick with it. If you’re running a headless system, it’s a good idea to hook up a monitor and keyboard to monitor progress.

Euphony Stylus v4 final version released. They have gone with a subscription model at the same price as Roon’s. Tradeoff = best sound quality (ES) for easily usable interface (Roon).
