EX600 or RE262 which one is worth for 150$

The Sony EX600 uses dome type dynamic driver and it's sound amazing (neutral, airy, warm) to show hidden details in mids, highs with great bass response and wide soundstage. The RE262 are not dynamic as EX600 but more on neutral side and shows great details in mids.

I would tend to think EX600 are preferable, but many think RE262s are top-tier.

RE262 is very dynamic.

Sorry, I haven't heard the RE262, I'm skipping it - I have RE0 and RE252 and I'm receiving RE272 in a few days.

Hi Kiteki, Iam looking forward for your review of RE272 and hope you will like these.

EX600 has more mind blowing SQ if that's what you're after, RE262 will be more of a subtle and sweet audiophile thing.

Just get the EX600 and pump up the volume.

How do you know that if you haven't heard RE262? One thing is reading opinions and reviews on sound and a completely different thing is actually listening to the sound yourself with your own ears, source, music.

How can you judge the sound of a headphone that you haven't actually heard? In order to tell how something sounds, you need to hear it! Nobody else has your brain and your ears, not to mention that many also don't have your gear and music.

Well... it's just I find my EX600 sounds vastly different from my RE0 and RE252, so I was thinking the RE262 will sound 'close' to the RE252 sound, that's all.

Sometimes I listen to an IEM, and it sounds nothing like my imagination of how I thought it would sound, you're correct.  Sometimes it sounds exactly like I expected it too though... that happened to me with the Final Audio FI-BA-SB.

Yes, I understand that. And I do that too sometimes. Just try not to judge stuff you haven't tried wherever you can hold off from doing that. It really doesn't add anything useful to the discussion on this forum and can only help certain opinions become more dominant and influential than they should be IMO. Well, that is unless you really like those people expressing those opinions and want to support them or something. just my 2 cents.
