I ordered a FiiO E10 for $45 from Adorama and I plan to buy headphones over the weekend but still haven't decided which, so far I'm leaning towards the DT 770 80 ohms. (I'm open to any other headphone recommendations)
 
My question is if I really need a headphone amp since I have an MBox 2 Audio Interface or will I have a better experience with the FiiO E10?

I would guess the Fiio E10's headphone amplifier is at least a little better then the MBox 2's.
It would be nice to know what DAC chip the MBox audio has?
