I just bought the Schiit modi to pair with my fiio e9. Will the set up be better than the e7? Also will my fiio e9 be sufficient to power the audeze. If not should I purchase a new amp as well.

The E9 has more than enough power to drive the LCD2s.

With my current set up with the e7, there's I'd an audible hiss. Is that from the amp or the DAC
