First of all, I appreciate any and all responses. Thanks in advance. The question is pretty simple:
 
Which amp do you think is better suited for the HiFiMan HE-400's? I have the E17, so that should be taken into account as well. 
 
Are there any other desktop amps in the price range that you would recommend instead of those 2?

I'll be sure not to, it's just that I was on an extremely tight window of buying opportunity...and well, I just had to buy one without any advice. I really wanted to avoid the early bump, but as I said, time was a huge factor. 
 
By the way, I've been reading through these forums for about a week and I've seen you on quite a number of threads giving sound advice. I just wanted to let you know that people do notice things like that, even someone who doesn't have an account or what have you!
