Sorry for stupid question, but what does mean: MQA 8x?
Dear friend,

MQA, which stands for Master Quality Authenticated, is a new encoding/decoding process that allows hi-res audio to be folded into a 48k file. Upon playback, when you are using our M11pro, the file could be fully decoded to reveal the full resolution of the song – up to 384k (8x).

Best regards

I really hope you add this functionality to the M11 because there’s no hardware limitation to do so, and your competitors (like HiBy) are now doing this even for their entry level players already released, via firmware.

SPDIF or optical out?

If so, hopefully independent path from PO/BAL.

Not going to happen as long as they're using the Samsung Exynos 7872 SoC. So no Play Store and no UAPP for M11, M11 Pro or M15...
what is wrong with having exynos chips and play store? Samsung phones have them.

From what I understand Samsung hasn’t (and won’t) developed an SDK beyond Android 7 for the 7872 SoC. Google will only allow Play Store support for Android 8.1+. So unless you can convince Samsung to go back and make the 7872 compatible with Android 8.1 or 9, the M11/Pro/15 will be restricted to Android 7. That’s the compromise of FiiO’s decision to standardise on the 7872 for these DAPs, but it’s also what makes them more affordable and so fast.

I’ll be far less impressed if FiiO doesn’t make all of their DAPs MQA compatible like HiBy and Cayin are now doing, as there’s no hardware limitation and no excuse not to do so. If even be willing to pay a small fee for MQA firmware, if money is the issue.

Before purchasing, I would like to ask a question of concern to me! After the start of sales of the M11 Pro there will be some new revisions of this device or is it the final version?
Dear friend,

There may be a stainless steel version but we haven't confirmed whether this verison will be released or not currently.

Best regards
