My volume wheel is basically useless now. Has anybody been through the experience of sending it back for repair for this issue? I’m wondering if it’s worth it.

Thanks, how long did it take to send it in and get it fixed?

At first they told it had to be sent to China for repair but later they could repair at India's service center itself (it's less than a week). They sent me an M9 as a standby player, they will send my player soon. Thanks, how long did it take to send it in and get it fixed?

They are really good with their service, in fact best service I have ever received.

So, how long was it from the time you sent it in until you got it back?

It's two weeks exactly, it would have been less if I hadn't gone out of town. So, how long was it from the time you sent it in until you got it back?
They actually repaired it here in India itself, they did not send it to China as they stated initially.
Dear friend,
Glad to hear about that. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Peter,So, how long was it from the time you sent it in until you got it back?
The volume wheel issue has returned again but I am not going to send it for repair again. It's definitely a manufacturing defect cause I sent it for repair two times now and it's still not resolved.
It's not going to stop me from buying FiiO stuff again as the volume wheel on M9 was fine like it should be.
I guest we are unlucky folks.

For the record, my X7II also has the wheel problem. I use the RM1 remote most of the time, it has its perks ^^

I was thinking of getting RM1, does it drain batter too much? Because I will be using balanced most of the time for my HD6xx.For the record, my X7II also has the wheel problem. I use the RM1 remote most of the time, it has its perks ^^
Leaving BT on all the time sure has consequences, but I still have to charge the dap 'only' once a day.
