Thats what I've noticed on my Etymotic HF2s. Switching to Shure olives seems to make the cord noise that I experienced with the flanges, and the regular foam tips that came w/ them disappear. Tapping it hard still makes noise, but the rubbing against the zipper of my sweater when I walk which used to annoy me to no end has disappeared. You think the foam is the cause of this, or the fact that its not going in as deeply? Anyone else experience this? Or is it in my head...
