For anybody whose Triple.fi's split apart

did you just glue it back together?

pulling off a tip caused the front housing to separate cleanly from the rest of the triple.fi right where it is attached. so all pieces are normal, nothing tore or snapped per se.

it seems like a few drops of super glue would do the trick without interfering with any of the function of these IEM's. anybody done that or dealt with an RMA instead?

Curious what type of tip?

Are they under warranty? I would call them and explain. That shouldn't happen even if they were out of warranty. I'd want assurances that if you tried gluing them and they were still screwed up that UE would replace them.

comply tip. these m-audio ie-40's are like 3 months old too so definitely in warranty.

i was on hold forever with m-audio on thursday at work. ill email them and ask.

RMA! and get a new pair, or maybe they'll just fix it for you....
