Hi, I made a thread a few days back and thought I had decided on a pair of headphones to order but ended up putting it off a few days. Now I've stumbled upon the T50RPs and see all of these wonderful things about them.
I know the T50RPs will need (at the very least) a amp and new cushions but them being $50 cheaper than the other headphones I was looking at it isn't an issue. Some of the reviews for the T50RP say it has 'rolled off highs' but excellent mids with the lows being a hit & miss depending on the review. People also say that when modded the T50RPs can compete with $600+ headphones but that honestly doesn't tell me much. I can't find a real comparison of the two because they both seem like 'alternative' headphones and most reviews compare them to M50s (thank god for this forum or I would have got those).
Can someone who has listened to both the Fostex T50RP and Brainwavz H5 (or one of its variants) tell me the actual differences?
