Nice job. But it takes some courage to send it to Ukraine. And paying postage plus mod. Is the price public?

Sent my pair to Era in Ear store here in Ukraine to get 2.5mm connectors installed and make custom cable (occ coper + Shure + Viablue connectors).
Looks great, can't wait to get them back

I paid $130 in total, $100 of which was for the cable.
+ they installed connectors on the original cable as well.

haha, I'd almost feel bad. But the dude posted every two hours in this thread for like a month, mostly about serial numbers and chinese poker hands, then ended up selling his without ever unboxing them, and then posted in this thread for like another 3 weeks about how much better he thought the TH900 was, even though he had never even heard the THX00.

I tried to reverse engineer the rules of chinese poker based on what he said were good and bad hands, but I couldn't make heads nor tails of what made for a good hand.

I wonder if somewhere has to be removed when installing the socket.
How is the socket installed? Is the cable inside modded too?

Yes, they had to cut a small piece of plastic ring and drill a bit of wood from the cup

With the rather "un-tubey" sound of the Vali 2, how would it pair with the thx00?
Still going back and forth on getting these. (no meets for me to try them, closest city that does them is a 5-6 hour drive)

Please, assist me to get this decision.
If you should keep one of those cans: Denon D7000 or Fostex TH-X00, what would you retain?.
Music to listen would be jazz, vocal and classic.
Has anybody done a pear to pear comparation?
