I think a fun novelty is a hospital power chord. Not because they sound better but because they are usually well built and designed to not fail. It’s kind of fun having something thats a part of hospital gear in the house.
Another fun component is organizing your space and making your gear look good in the room or on the shelf. Perhaps a DIY rack or DIY table. Even an old table from the 1970s that belonged to a family member for the vintage vibe that can match listening to old music.
Good lighting in the room. In my bedroom and main listening room, I have 3 different lamps to control the dynamics of lighting. Listening to music with the right lighting can make a difference and help you relax.
