I am a portable audio fanatic. I am happy with HM801 but I am looking for another solution for the portable audio. Now I am trying a computer audio in a Palm.

This is my new toy, Ubuntu(Linux) running on Sharp Netwalker PDA with DenDAC. DenDAC is a tiny Japan made USB DAC/Amp. I hooked my JH13 up to this setup and I get a great sound. Netwalker also works fine with DACport, this makes sound quality even better.

I am a newb to Linux world so I tried a safer setup without modifying config files. Now my setup is, I use FLAC music files using Listen Music Player. FLACs are stored in microSD memory. DenDAC is so small and will not required USB cable. This is a plus to use with such a tiny PDA(or a MID, if you like to call so) device. ALSA USB driver has been used with them.

Linux settings are a bit tricky to me, so I need study more about this area to use them better.
