Hi guys, this is my first time on the forum.

I'm looking for some stylish headphones at the max price of $150. I love the studio dr dre beats, but unfortunately, I cannot shell out 400 dollars for those.

I want closed, around the ear headphones. The closest thing i've found that i liked is the Audio Technica ATH-SQ5, but there are a few bad reviews out there. To me, the look of the headphones come first, and the sound quality should be above average. I've used ipod earbuds all my life, so I will probably be easily impressed. Good bass is a plus, and I mostly listen to korean pop. Thanks in advanced.

$150
Stylish
Above average sound quality
closed, around the ear

If all you want is bling and looks takes precedence over sound quality, then just get some cheap Skullcandies.

I forgot to mention, i hate skullcandies. I think they sound terrible, and I don't think they look very nice either.

Just because I prioritize the look, does not mean I don't care about sound quality

You're asking for some odd suggestions when you come on here prioritizing style over function.

If you really like the Beats, and dont mind inferior performance, maybe look at the Beats Solo. They are only $30 over your budget, and look very similar to the regular Beats.

I like the look of most of the audio-technicas. The ES7s would be great, except that they're on ear. What are good closed over the ear headphones from audio technica for under 150?

Nothing wrong with wanting style in addition to good sound. Maybe not "above" good sound, but if I'm going to wear something in public than I'd want them to be stylish. I'm not going to wear sweats everyday just because they're more comfortable than jeans.

Also check out the creative aurvana lives. Way cheaper than the D1001k and sound/feels almost identical from what I've read. Are supposed to be extraordinarily comfortable as well.

The JVC HA-M750 is also ok if you like square and black: http://addons.books.com.tw/G/N00/t/6...78216_t_04.jpg

The Sennheiser 448 is quite nice and isn't as big as you might think from the pics, while still being circumaural: http://img.custompublish.com/getfile...iserHD_448.jpg

The Sony MDR XB500 mighttt float your boat, depending on your style. I personally think they look quite nice, and seem nicely build, but the pads are really big(though not as huge as those on the 700). That could be a plus or minus. These are the 700s: http://cfs11.tistory.com/image/5/tis.../496579bbc3881

The 500s: http://reviews.sonystyle.com/5050/84190/photo.jpg

These are all black and silver though. Sorry I can't think of anything circumaural that's colorful XD.
