Hi, i read reviews and topics here concerning listening to music using MacBook Pro but sadly, i'm at a much greater confusion seeing as everybody has their own favorite brand and model to recommend...

I'm currently using a 13" MBP 2010 (i think it has digital out via 3.5mm jack don't know how it's possible but it doesn't have optical).
my brother gave me his Fiio E7 amplifier he uses on his car, i still have to retrieve it and use it then.

Can you recommend me a good headphone just around $100-150 for my MBP. i'll use it 90% on my laptop and 10% for iPod Touch.
I'm currently looking at Grado SR 80i, Denon AH-D1001 and AKG K450. don't ask why random prices.
that's how it is here in japan where my work is. i'm filipina btw...

Listening Preferences:
J-pop and K-pop 60%
RnB 20%
Rock 10%
Classical (Orchestra) 10%

Thanks for your time...

You can try the GMP 8.35 D Monitor, or the M-50, both are @ 35 ohm.

I've read the Denons have better genre bandwidth than the Grados, which do their best with rock and metal.  Don't know about the K450s though.
