Friends,

I have a pair of PS500s I want to plug into my new iPhone 5S however the new Tech21 case I have on it which I like and prefer to keep has an opening that is not wide enough for the standard adapter.

Are there connectors on the market that will either take an existing 1/4 inch or mini-plug and link to a smaller diameter mini plug?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :)

None that I know of... however why not make your own? Its easy to fab cables... of maybe modify your case to fit. A drill and some boredom will fix your issue...

I'm not that handy at soldering.

Detour through an amp or DAC? Thats what I did - got myself a PHA-1 to pair with the PS500 and it sounds superb also solves any case/plug issues. The DAC really brings out the positives of the Grados.

A possibility...I guess I could add my ALO RX II Tactical to it but I like to travel light.
