Hi, I recently want to upgrade my HD 650 to HD 800s or HD 820, but I cannot make the decision. Also, I am not familiar with the amplifier that will suit for HD800s /HD 820. Could anyone give me some suggestion?

You're not going to find much info about the HD820 yet as it hasn't been released for sale. However, with the general consensus (as far as I'm aware) being that the HD820 are similar sounding to the HD800S, I hope you're not looking for a better version of the HD650 because the HD800S doesn't sound anything like the HD650.
As for an amp for the HD800S, I like the pairing with the WA8, but your mileage may vary depending on your taste.

It depends on what your budget is for the amp pairing?Hi, I recently want to upgrade my HD 650 to HD 800s or HD 820, but I cannot make the decision. Also, I am not familiar with the amplifier that will suit for HD800s /HD 820. Could anyone give me some suggestion?
I think if your set on an HD800s or HD820 then the HDVA820 could be a no brainer for you. I heard it at RMAF and thought it had fantastic synergy with the HD800s. It should have fantastic synergy though since they built the amp with the HD800s and HD820 in mind.
I wish I could speak for hearing the HD820 though... I will thankfully get the chance to hear it next month at CanJam NY!
Like @Dulalala said though, the HD800s is a lot different then the 650 that you are familiar with. So I would make sure that the sound of the can meets your preferences first before you buy the amp. Just my 2 cents!
Thanks man. I understand that HD800s/HD 820 is much better for the symphony. That is what I want. You're not going to find much info about the HD820 yet as it hasn't been released for sale. Thanks man. I think I’d better hold the order until you hear the HD800s/HD820 and HDV 820. I wish I could read your impression soon.It depends on what your budget is for the amp pairing?

I have both the HD 800S and the HD 820.
The answer is, it depends.
HD 800S cons:
lacks punchy bass
Super wide open so everyone can hear what you are listneing to.
Doesn’t come with a pentaconn cable
Treble is almost borderline harsh (but this characteristic can be a good thing)
Maybe not as cool looking
HD 820 cons:
Imaging is sacrificed with the less harsh treble
Soundstage is slightly smaller.
HD 800S pros:
Insane imaging + soundstage
Better for critical listening.
HD 820 pros:
Bass is great
Treble is not too harsh
Comfortable
Better for casual listening
Amps... I’ve only tried the WA8, HDV 820, and a moon audio amp (a step down from their high-end one) and the MHA150
The MHA150 and the HDV820 are both great. I think the HDV820 is better for the price.
The WA8 sounded nice but it is unbalanced.
