In the past I always had issue with the cheap iem mainly with it staying in my ear but I am willing to give it another shot.
As the title say I am considering the Head-Direct RE0 ($99) and Sleek Audio SA6 ($140) from amazon I was wondering if any has done a head to head comparison of the two.
I am also open to other options.

They also have a smoother range. The Treble Tips and the Bass Port Caps allow you to expand and collapse the extremest ends of the range on the "Sound Fingerprint" as they call it for the SA-6's. I find these much nicer to MY Ear. Extremely nice and smooth for Electronic Music. I guess I'd say they have nice "body", concentrated in the large or expanded mids and midbass range.

The RE0 ALSO SOUND 'GOOD' and some swear by them, however they, for ME, even with a variety of different tips attempted that seal well... ...were very "DRY" in sound. Very good in treble and mids, but compared to the SA-6 had NO Bass bump... A very "where's the beef" experience for me.
