Does burning in headphones have anything to do with volume? I mean, if i burn in my headphones, will they get louder or quieter or just stay the same volume? I was just wonder because my ath sj11s have some imbalance issues and i wanted to know if i could burn in one side more to even the sound out. Also what songs/audio files are recommended for burning in headphones?

I've never experienced volume changes before, during, or after burn-in on any of my headphones. I don't think burn-in affects the efficiency of the headphone, only the sound, because the driver loosens up.

I burned-in my headphones with my iTunes library, but I've read quite a few posts where people use "pink noise" loops.
